In 2015 Manufacturing in Mexico was acquired by the Tecma Group of Companies with offices in San Diego and El Paso, Texas. This allows both our staff and our client firms quick and easy access to factories. With over 7,000 employees, and more than 31 years of experience in the maquiladora business, Manufacturing in Mexico under Tecma leadership provides professional, efficient corporate shelter services for both United States and international firms.
Since the 1960’s, Manufacturing in Mexico and Tecma have helped over 600 manufacturing firms, ranging from as few as 10 line workers to as many as 800, cut labor costs by 50% or more. Products made or assembled in our maquiladoras are as diverse as those produced by an Asian manufacturing company (but our operations are much more accessible!), and include fiber optics, computer electronics, automotive and communications components, textiles, apparel, furniture, sporting goods, toys, and art.
